How the league came to be

   This idea has been brewing for over 5 years, since I returned to Milwaukee and was looking for a place to keep learning the game. For an adult there are camps and the ones that are run in the summer are great. However, the speed of the game in even the lowest level leagues can be too fast for someone still picking up the skills.

   As of November 2021, there were still no league for adults to learn how to play and then actually play others who are at their skill level in the Milwaukee area. After speaking with players over the past few years, the desire for a league like this became more and more evident.

   In December of 2021, Underhill Hockey Group, LLC. started taking the steps to make the league a reality.

   After reaching out to the rinks in the area, a home for the league was found.

   The plan is start playing in late March of 2022 at Eble Park Ice Arena (19400 W Bluemound Rd, Brookfield, WI 5304).

   On December 30, 2021, the website for the NACHL was launched. On December 31, 2021, the EoI portal went live and we are currently accepting applications to play from 60 novice players (56 skaters and 4 goalies) and 4 team coordinators.

   We are looking for league sponsors to help decrease the cost to players.
